Tom Krymkowski received his formal film training at the Boston Film & Video Foundation and the International Film & Video Workshops in Rockport, Maine.
Tom also has over a decade of experience working in public radio as being an audio engineer/trainer for National Public Radio, KQED-San Francisco, and WGBH-Boston. He currently works as a freelance videographer/editor in marketing and production.
Tom worked on several short films in Boston including Daylight Savings (2000), and teamed up with Director Chris Engles on the feature film This Town (2001), which most notably screened at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Independent Feature Film Market in New York.
After a move west it didn’t take him long to discover the independent film scene in the Bay Area. In fact it was the short film Spaceman (directed and produced by Devious, Inc.’s dynamic duo xuxE and Samantha), which inspired him to join the ranks of Scary Cow Productions. He now has quite a few Scary Cow cinematography credits under his belt, including The Templetons, Play Something, and The Exquisite Pain. Devious, Inc. is his second feature-length project as Director of Photography.
